What is Wayú?
Wayú is a company whose main purpose is to support families fighting cancer, specifically low-income mothers of children with cancer. How? Wayú joins the trend of natural and healthy consumption by proposing a new concept, a new way of consuming the tropical and exotic fruits from Andean America: Dehydrated fruit infusions.
All of Wayú’s products are made by mothers of children with cancer. This project gives them the opportunity to work and take care of their children at the same time.
Our Story
On November 26, 2014, with the name of “Fruit” or “Wayú“, in Quechua language, an entrepreneurship was born to promote a 100% natural and healthy consumption with a new and innovative product: dehydrated fruit infusions. It was born with the aim of taking all the properties and benefits of tropical and exotic fruits from Andean America to all the world.
Wayú was born in Quito-Ecuador with the purpose of supporting families fighting cancer who needed a job to support themselves and to confront this terrible disease. Over the years, Wayú grew to support a lot of families, specifically mothers, that now are in charge of making our delicious dehydrated fruit infusions that today are enjoyed in Colombia, Ecuador, United States and Canada.

Social Commitement:
Wayú, beside from having very high-quality products, has a great social project. All of our products are manufactured by mothers of low-income children with cancer. Within Wayú they have the opportunity to work and at the same time take care of their children thanks to the flexible work schedules and rotation systems that Wayú handles.
